What is dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a form of exfoliation in which a sterile surgical blade is used to scrape off up to 3-4 weeks’ worth of dead skin cells, residual makeup, and “peach fuzz” (vellus hair). This hair will not grow back thicker as we are only removing it from the surface of the skin, not the follicle.
The treatment will rejuvenate the skin and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, sun damage, and hyper-pigmentation. Peach fuzz traps dirt and oil which is a likely cause of breakouts and a dull complexion, so removing it will leave the skin feeling smooth, soft and radiant immediately after treatment.

What is microneedling?
Using the DPM8 Dermapen device, micro-punctures are created in the skin that cause mild trauma to the skin’s surface to stimulate the natural production of new collagen and elastin, resulting in smoother, firmer, and toned skin. The small punctures create micro-channels that allow serums and nutrients to penetrate and absorb into the deeper layers of the skin to deliver more powerful results.
Microneedling is mostly used on the face but can also be used on parts of the body to help minimise the look of stretch marks, scarring and pigmentation.

What is Radiofrequency?
Radiofrequency is a technique of delivering heat in the form of energy to the skin and underlying structures. This creates mechanical and biochemical effects that lead to both immediate collagen contraction and delayed remodelling due to the subsequent wound healing response. RF targets blood circulation, promotes fibrous tissue breakdown, drains fatty deposits throughout the lymphatic system and disintegrates fat.
SKIN TISSUE RETRACTION
Heat causes local contraction of collagen fibres to remodel and rejuvenate, immediately tightening the skin and the effects of aging.
COLLAGEN FORMATION
This produces further delated tightening which only becomes evident slowly over the next few months. By heating the dermis, it boosts fibroblasts, stimulates collagen formation and acts as a new deep foundation for the skin.
IMPROVED CIRCULATION

This is our stand-alone Radiofrequency facial, combining Murad Method™ massage which aims to contract collagen for plumper and firmer skin while incorporating ultimate relaxation; a Murad core belief.
Results are immediately noticeable after RF and they become even more noticeable in the weeks following the treatment. Therefore for maximum results, a course of 6-10 is advised.
RF Body

This treatment is designed to work using Radiofrequency from the neck down to target thinning areas of the skin where sagging, crepiness and loss of elasticity can occur e.g. upper arms, thighs, stomach and back. Radiofrequency skin tightening procedures are non-invasive with low risk as there will not be any scarring or downtime. Like with all RF treatments, a course of 6 (minimum) is advised.

The combination of cavitation and radiofrequency for the body helps to reduce unwanted areas of fat, tightens skin, reduces the appearance of cellulite, contours the body and is completely pain free.
What is cavitation?
Delivered to a precise area, cavitation works by selectively disrupting subcutaneous fat cells through ultrasound waves which cause thousands of microscopic implosions impacting fat cell membranes. Breaking down these fat cells increases cell metabolism and the body's ability to store fat. The ultrasound waves penetrate between 1-2cm into the body which creates cavities and raises the pressure around the fat cells. These cells do not have the structural capacity to withstand the vibrations. Therefore, the cavitation easily breaks down these fat cells which then liquefies and is discarded through your body's natural drainage system.

This treatment uses radiofrequency to tighten the skin and also cavitation therapy which is a non-surgical method of reducing cellulite and localised fat. This procedure involves applying pressure on fat cells through ultrasonic vibrations. The pressure is high enough to make the fat cells break down into a liquid form. The body can then get rid of it as waste through your urine.
